Choosing glue

Our kits include the perfect glue. It's almost impossible to find anything like this in a retail store. If you decide to buy digital templates, please take the choice of glue seriously as it is going to affect your assembly experience.

Simple stationery PVA glue is not suitable; it causes the paper to get wet and become deformed.

Glue Requirements:

  • A drying rate of 10 seconds. One sculpture has a minimum of 120 gluing spots, so it is important for the glue to dry quickly.
  • Glue application does not lead to wet paper.
  • Ability to make some corrections – occasionally parts may not be connected in the way they were intended as you are assembling the model, so being able to make changes within a few seconds is crucial.

Option one

You can find carpentry PVA glue in a hardware store, though it is only sold in large quantities. You may find it convenient to use a stick or syringe to apply the glue. Moment isn't suitable for assembly because the drying rate is too long and it will wet the paper. Finnish adhesives are best to use. Tundra, Kilto, Eskaro are also acceptable.

Option two

UHU paper glue or UHU Creative.

Option three

Glue for wallpaper joints, e.g. Methylan or Quelyd.
