How to start constructing the papercraft figures?
Polygonal model consists of many flat, multi angled facets - polygons that make the whole body. “Papercraft” technology is the process creating a polygonal figure out of paper using a diagram and glue. The diagram is printed on paper contains parts of the figure and is called a flat pattern. In order to put together a figure out of the flat pattern, details have to be cut off, bent, and glued together according to their numbers.
We have done everything possible to make sure the process of figure assembly is clear and simple. We prepared the model so the details are convenient to glue together, we drew clear symbols on the flat pattern, and created step-by-step illustrated instructions. You will be able to build the figure even if you have never done anything like this before. You simply need to buy the necessary materials and to print the flat patterns. More than anything, the result will depend on your attention to detail and precision.
We made several of our models free of charge in order to demonstrate how carefully thought through our diagrams are and to show the full potential of the art of papercraft. If you have not built the papercraft sculptures before, we recommend you to start with the Wolf’s Head or the mask of Shigil Idol.
